FB introduced a new program Screening Room a venue for showcasing titles selected in the Indian Panorama Section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and Market Recommendations, which includes pre-selected or unseen films either just completed or in last stages of production and specifically looking for gap financing, distribution partners and placement at key international film festivals. The section is reserved for buyers, financiers and festival programmers only.
The Screening Room housed over 87 titles categorised under Film Bazaar Recommendations, titles of the Indian Panorama section (IFFI) and the Film Library. The agenda of this initiative is to promote sales and festival participation of South Asian films globally. Through this facility, buyers | financiers | festival programmers view films, leave comments for the film's rights holder(s), request screeners and avail other trading and distribution services.
